Underbelly Idents – News of the World
Crime is an extremely powerful sales driver for the News of the World in Scotland and the paper has always featured crime content heavily.
In order to reinforce this association with exclusive crime reporting, News of the World is sponsoring STV’s ‘Underbelly’, a gritty criminal underworld drama set in Melbourne and based on real life gangs and characters. The idents, created by Leith and produced by Freakworks, reflect the dark moody nature of the programme and continue the News Of The World’s strong association with crime.
